Years of solid experience back up the technology of the Polymer Technology Department, an independent testing organization that specializes in polymers. Since its establishment, the center has performed general evaluations of rubber, plastics, and other polymers as well as products made from these materials by subjecting them to processing, physical, chemical, and other tests. Drawing on the wealth of data that it has accumulated and also harnessing advanced technologies, the center provides fundamental support with respect to basic and applied research. It also conducts its own studies in such domains as the analysis of products that were involved in accidents and estimates of material and product life expectancy.
